Rich Burns, Raleigh, North Carolina

As a key account manager for Bayer Environmental Sciences in Research Triangle Park, Rich Burns frequently travels for his job. A few times while he was away, his wife and two young daughters experienced power outages. When he and his family moved from Kansas City to Raleigh in 2005, he purchased a generator from a big-box store and hired Jackson Superior Electric Inc. to maintain it. In 2018, he downsized, moved to a new home and bought a Generac automatic standby generator from Jackson Superior Electric who installed and now maintain the 22kw Generac generator.
