Jackson Superior Electric is a trusted electrical services company that began in September 1984, when Dan Jackson started the business in a small shed behind his parents’ home in Raleigh, North Carolina. What started as a one-man operation focused on new construction and residential service work has grown into a multi-generational, community-rooted company serving homeowners throughout the greater Triangle area.

In 1990, Dan’s wife Mary joined the business to manage office operations and bookkeeping, playing a vital role in the company’s early development. Their daughter Meghan began working in the office in 2002, took time off to raise her family, and rejoined in 2019. Their son Garrett worked during summers as a teenager and balanced part-time work while pursuing firefighting full-time—until 2024, when he stepped into the role of company president.

From the beginning, family values have shaped the company’s mission and approach—emphasizing quality work, strong ethics, and genuine care for both customers and employees. Jackson Superior Electric has remained deeply involved in the community, giving back through youth programs, schools, and local service efforts.

The company expanded in the early 2000s to offer Generac generator installations, maintenance, and repairs, and more recently, EV charger installations, always staying current with emerging technologies and evolving customer needs. In 2010, operations moved from their home-based shop to their current office on Highway 1.

Today, the legacy continues with a new generation, including Dylan, Dan and Mary’s grandson, now a certified Generac technician. Jackson Superior Electric remains dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality electrical services.
