Garrett Jackson.

Head Electrician & Generac Certified Technician
Jackson Superior Electric

Garrett Jackson has been part of Jackson Superior Electric for as long as he can remember—starting as a teenager working after school and during summers, learning the trade hands-on from his father, Dan, and the team of seasoned electricians. Today, Garrett serves as the company’s Head Electrician and Generac Certified Technician, leading installation and service work across a wide range of residential and custom projects.

Garrett played a key role when the company began offering generator installation and maintenance services in 2001, drawn naturally to the combination of electrical work and mechanical systems. He is a certified Generac technician, trained in installation, warranty service, troubleshooting, and performance. He continues to pursue ongoing training and re-certification, including coursework at Generac’s national training facility in Wisconsin.

In addition to his electrical work, Garrett also serves his community as a Captain with the Wake Forest Fire Department, a passion he has pursued since becoming a volunteer firefighter at the age of 16. He holds an associate degree in Fire Science and has completed certifications in Firefighting, EMT response, and HazMat training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrician on residential and custom home projects

  • Certified Generac installer and warranty technician

  • Generator troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance

  • Mentorship and training of field technicians

Garrett’s dual dedication to public service and family business reflects the values at the core of Jackson Superior Electric: hard work, safety, and commitment to the community. He lives in Youngsville with his wife Chelsea and their two children, Cadence and Owen, enjoying time outdoors together when he’s not on a call—either electrical or emergency.
